The Mindful Camera
A Creative Approach to Mindfulness and Wellbeing
What if your phone camera could become a tool for mindfulness?
Introducing the Programme
The Mindful Camera is an innovative experiential programme that brings together informal mindfulness practice, visual storytelling and mobile filmmaking to explore new ways of seeing ourselves and the world around us.
Instead of using our phones simply to capture and share moments, what happens when we use them to become more present?

The Mindful Camera Experience
Through guided creative activities, participants are invited to slow down, observe with greater awareness and reconnect with their surroundings. Using the camera on their mobile phones, they explore how the simple act of noticing, framing and capturing images can become opportunities for reflection, creativity and self-expression.
Designed for all ages and requiring no prior filmmaking experience, this refreshing approach to mindfulness encourages participants to develop a more intentional relationship with technology while nurturing creativity, attention and personal wellbeing.

Participants leave with a short visual creation of their own, and a new way of seeing through a familiar device.
