The eight week course on Mindfulness-Based Wellbeing Enhancement (MBWE) was created on the foundation of the ancient practice of mindfulness, which encourages being fully present in our lives with greater peace and ease. It is a practice that is useful in the enhancement of wellbeing, increased self-awareness, and the prevention and reduction of stress.
This eight week course integrates mindfulness techniques and practices from the research evidence and global practice. It will combine Mindful Yoga, Positive Psychology and authentic Mindfulness practices to enhance wellbeing. The course includes meditation practices, silent practices, light stretching and movements, group dialogue and discussion and home experiments. The course consists of eight 2 hour sessions. There will also be a half-day mindfulness retreat that will weave mindfulness into your lifestyle and will end with a mindful lunch in silence.
Each participant will receive a copy of 'Mindfulness in 8 Days' by our Founder Director, Kathirasan K.
