Mindfulness is all about being aware of what is happening as, it’s happening in an open, non-judgmental, accepting, and compassionate way. This awareness supports us in not letting life pass us by while lost in anticipation of the possible future or memories of the past. Developing habits of responding wisely and skillfully to what is actually occurring is relevant when faced with healing from chronic stress and/or chronic health issues such as pain, physical illness, depression or anxiety, and also in the joys, responsibilities and challenges of daily living.
Mindfulness practices are becoming more relevant in Singapore with the increasing challenges we face in both our personal and professional lives. Mindfulness has a tremendous effect in promoting wellbeing and reducing stress, anxiety and other life challenges. Modern research has found that by practicing Mindfulness one can move away from negative thoughts about the past and the future, and remain positive in the present moment. Mindfulness practitioners have also found themselves dealing with physical illnesses and challenges much better than they used to.

The eight week course on Mindfulness-Based Wellbeing Enhancement (MBWE) was created on the foundation of the ancient practice of mindfulness, which encourages being fully present in our lives with greater peace and ease. It is a practice that is useful in the enhancement of wellbeing, increased self-awareness, and the prevention and reduction of stress.
In today's working environment we can move information around the world in seconds, meeting face-to-face with individuals on other continents with the click of a button. Employees are driving themselves to do more, to accomplish more, to do everything faster; all of which seems to result in a fragmented, over-stressed, and hectic way of life.
Our Mindfulness program for Counselors & Therapists encourages therapists to embrace mindfulness practice to create presence and depth in their work with clients. Mindfulness helps therapists and counselors to cultivate compassion, relieve stress, and weather the often emotionally difficult work of providing therapy.
Mindfulness for Educators is a unique professional development program that helps teachers to handle the stresses and rediscover the joys of teaching. It is an approach that allows teachers to participate more fully in their teaching and children to participate more fully in their learning. It offers an opportunity to build up inner resources to deal with stress and to live life fully and joyfully.
