The purpose of this practice is to learn to simply be with your breath and yourself without judgement, to be in a calm, non-judging awareness, allowing your thoughts and feelings to come and go without getting caught up in them.

1. Adopt a comfortable sitting posture which keeps your back upright and relaxed. You can sit on the ground or on a chair.
